I’m Brian Davis, Director of Technical Services for Highland Park United Methodist Church. For years, my passion has been using the technology God created to impact His kingdom and work here on earth. My career has included church production, as well as radio and television production. My motivation for church production can be summed up by a poem written by the late Dana Key:
Communication
There came a technological lion
With a deafening roar
I heard a king and a kingdom
Knocking at my door
I saw a selfish spirit
Turn wise men into fools
I found a timeless message
And joined it with a tool.
I live in Garland, TX with my wife and three children.

Just wanted to leave my blog URL where I will also chime in about audio, church tech, digital photography, Christian music, things Mac, and other technology subjects. I have appeared on the faithtools.net podcast and Van Metschke’s thesoundbooth.com (first and only) podcast. Love to chat sometime.
Brian – Very nice site. Good information and I enjoy what you’re doing…. Thanks.
Hi Brian
Thanks for the note on my blog. I would love to get together sometime. Please shoot me an email (jasonc@lakepointe.org) and we can make a plan.
Hi Brian,
I’m a worship pastor in Frisco. we’re relocating and I’m charged with the worship space. I’m kinda clueless with where to start with the set design. Would you have any ideas about where to start?
Blessings,
David Gentiles
