I just went to Micro-Center today to pick up a program display for our Easy Worship Computer. They had about twenty different models of LCD displays, but not even one was 4:3. They were ALL widescreen. It just took be by surprise. I haven’t run into that yet.

The last time I needed a 4:3 screen I had to order online. Also check Fry’s if you have them in the DFW area….

yeah, microsoft officially targets widescreen and so does apple, so the end of 4:3 is fast approaching.
like everything else, you either piggyback on what the PC industry is doing or you are forced to use expensive proprietary hardware, so I would expect not only will 4:3 monitors disappear, but devices like our M7CL will be redesigned to be widescreen in the future.

i just dont beleive that they would stop making 4:3 aspect ratio screens, but if they did, start makin widescreen only and no more 4:3 graphics pros are quiting and getting rid of the puter! personaly i hate the short and fat aspect ratio you cant work photoshop with streched out distorted images! widescreen totalitarism would screw the market.
